General photography, art appreciation and natural art media have been of keen practical interest to me since my early teens. Photo images have frequently been support to help practice and develop skills in painting and drawing. With the growth of the digital process, my practical art based experience has been an inspiration to me in exploring the fusion between traditional art, digital process and the diversity of photographic imagery. I have spent recent years specialising in the field of portrait photography and I am proud to be a qualified member of the prestigious Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP), a worldwide association for Professional Photographers.

portrArt is the name I have given to my own approach in developing a creative style of presentation for ‘ family portraiture’. Using both the principles and skills of professional photography combined with the vast range of digital and natural art media tools now available, portrArt is my personal adventure in presenting ‘family portraiture’ with a spark of originality…
As well as familiar styles of family portrait photography, portrArt is a little piece of uniqueness for the family collection - an alternative and delightful way to view favourite memories - an addition or alternative to the family album/digital frame display:-
